Our clients include middle and high schools all over our great state that reflect its diversity: public, private, traditional, charter, urban, rural, magnet, resource-challenged, large, medium, small, and and more. Flexible enough and designed to meet a variety of budgets, our school-day programs take place in the students’ familiar educational environments, yet provide a dynamically different approach to helping students understand the role of standardized tests as they progress in life. No matter their path right out of high school—military, college, or the workforce—students must demonstrate a mastery of core reading, English, and math skills. With combined experiences in education at the elementary, middle, high school, and college levels (in capacities ranging from teaching to curriculum development to student athlete advising), the APlus Test Prep team makes a difference in students’ scores.
APlus Test Prep has been an asset to [Wheatmore High] students. We have used them to prepare our students for the ACT for the past 4 years and we have had an increase in our composite ACT scores each year!!! Our students respond very well to the APlus team because they make doing well on the ACT relevant to what our kids are interested in pursing post high school. I also believe it has been very beneficial to our students to hear how important doing well on these high-stakes exams are from someone besides their parents and teachers. Our students look forward to our prep sessions each October and February. I highly recommend APlus Test Prep

After our first session with APlus Test Prep, we were very pleased with the positive feedback from students and parents. A few parents went out of their way to contact me to say how beneficial the session had been and that their children were now taking preparing for the ACT much more seriously. Students asked when the tutors were coming back. The experience was motivating and informative for our students.

Thanks again for another energetic and stimulating presentation. I was heartened by the enthusiastic response and excitement that your presentation generated. We are intentionally and actively pursuing our VISION to be one of the best performing school districts in NC. Your proven strategies to generate higher scores and better outcomes for our students and parents are impressive. In moving forward, I am encouraged by CIS, our community partners, and other stakeholders to continue this journey together. I look forward to our ongoing efforts to mobilize our community to help raise achievement, raise expectations, raise awareness and hopefully, raise funds to help sponsor promising students. Onward to HIGHER SCORES!

The parent/family session was awesome! You guys passionately delivered the message about the importance of scoring high on the SAT/ACT.

I would highly recommend APlus Test Prep for your ACT needs. Specifically, Ms. Sheba Brown worked with our teachers and students [at McMichael HS] and was extremely successful. We chose APlus because of their comprehensive approach to helping kids be successful on the ACT rather than just buying workbooks and having the kids complete the workbooks. I believe what we did and our plan propelled our ACT composite score forward . . .Our high school was the only traditional high school (out of 4) in our district to show growth on the ACT and we exceeded our growth expectations on the ACT. Our ACT composite score in 2012-2013 was 47.3 and it grew to 50.1 in 2013-2014.”

[I liked] The data was revealing, the passion of the presenter, the motivation for scholarships, the details about the test, and strategies to use to help students be successful!
